Course Introduction:

The Managing Successful Programmes MSP® give delegates an in depth knowledge of the use and techniques of the MSP® 'Managing Successful Programmes' phylosophy, as laid out in the Cabinet Office guide 'Managing Successful Programmes'.

The objective of this course is to give delegates an understanding of the 'Managing Successful Programmes' (MSP) philosophy and how it can be applied to live programmes. This course is delivered using the latest 2007 MSP manual and syllabus.

At the end of the course delegates can take the official MSP® Foundation and Practitioner exam. If in a later stage delegates want to take the official MSP® Practitioner exam they will have to have passed for the MSP® Foundation exam. MSP® Foundation and Practitioner course will be delivered by an accredited training organization (ATO) MSP®. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups. The training materials are very complete.

None

Preparation in advance:

It is recommended that students should complete at least 21 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the Managing Successful Programmes manual in advance of attending training for the certification.

  • Classroom lecturing.
  • Individual and group assignments.
  • Exam preparation session
