Course Introduction:

The M_o_R® give delegates an in depth knowledge of the use and techniques of the M_o_R® risk management method, as laid out in the Cabinet Office guide 'Management of Risk; Guidance for Practitioners'.

Course Description:

Accredited M_o_R® training is provided by AFA, APMG-International Accredited Training Organisation. For more details please visit AFA. ITAcademy is a reseler for this course.

The course will give delegates an in depth knowledge of the use and techniques of the M_o_R® risk management method, as laid out in the Cabinet Office guide 'Management of Risk; Guidance for Practitioners'.

At the end of the course delegates can take the official M_o_R® Foundation and Practitioner exam. If in a later stage delegates want to take the official M_o_R® Practitioner exam they will have to have passed for the M_o_R® Foundation exam. M_o_R® Foundation and Practitioner course will be delivered by an accredited training organization (ATO) M_o_R®. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups. The training materials are very complete.

Prerequisites:

None

Preparation in advance:

It is recommended that students should complete at least 21 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the Management of Risk; Guidance for Practitioners manual in advance of attending training for the certification.

  • 2-3 hours of evening work is required in order to take the exam
  • Classroom lecturing.
  • Individual and group assignments.
  • Exam preparation session
