Course Introduction:
The AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner qualification aims to address the needs of those working in a project-focused environment who want to be Agile.
Based on the proven fundamentals within DSDM Atern, the Agile certification provides the ability to deliver Agile Projects in organizations requiring standards, rigour and visibility around Project Management, while at the same time enabling the fast pace, change and empowerment provided by Agile.
The course will:
- Explain how to lay the foundations for successful agile projects
- Explain how an agile project is managed
- Clarify the different management styles needed for successful agile projects (compared to "traditional" projects)
- Provide integration with PRINCE2®.

At the end of the 2-nd day of course delegates can take the official AgilePM® Foundation exam. If in a later stage delegates want to take the official AgilePM® Practitioner exam they will have to have passed for the AgilePM® Foundation exam. At the end of the last day of course delegates can take the official AgilePM® Practitioner exam. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups.

None
Preparation in advance:
It is recommended that students should complete at least 21 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the AgilePM® Hanbook manual in advance of attending training for the certification.
Course activities:
- 2-3 hours of evening work is required in order to take the exam
- Classroom lecturing.
- Individual and group assignments.
