Course Introduction:
This course is designed to give delegates a broad understanding of the ‘Management of Portfolios’ (MoP®) philosophy and guidance, and prepare for the MoP® exams.
All ITAcademy courses are delivered using the latest MoP® examinations and syllabus
Course Description:
The following modules will be delivered:
- Overview of Method
- Implement MoP®, Sustain & Measure
- Strategic & Organizational Context
- Portfolio Management Principles
- Portfolio Definition cycle
- Portfolio Delivery cycle
- Roles & Documentation
At the end of the 3-rd day of course delegates can take the official MoP® Foundation exam. If in a later stage delegates want to take the official MoP® Practitioner exam they will have to have passed for the MoP® Foundation exam. At the end of the last day of course delegates can take the official MoP® Practitioner exam. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups.

Prerequisites:
None
Preparation in advance:
It is recommended that students should complete at least 21 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the Management of Portfolio MoP® manual in advance of attending training for the certification.
Course activities:
- 2-3 hours of evening work is required in order to take the exam
- Classroom lecturing.
- Individual and group assignments.
- Exam preparation session
