Course Introduction:
This course is designed to give delegates a broad understanding of the ‘Management of Portfolios’ (MoP®) philosophy and guidance, and prepare for the MoP® exams.
All ITAcademy courses are delivered using the latest MoP® examinations and syllabus
Course Description:
The following modules will be delivered:
- Overview of Method
- Implement MoP®, Sustain & Measure
- Strategic & Organizational Context
- Portfolio Management Principles
- Portfolio Definition cycle
- Portfolio Delivery cycle
- Roles & Documentation
At the end of the last day of course delegates can take the official MoP® Practitioner exam. The course consists of a mix of theory and practical exercises. Most of the exercises will be done in small groups.

- Everyone else who is somehow involved in participating or running portfolios and programmes
Prerequisites:
MoP® Foundation certification
Preparation in advance:
It is recommended that students should complete at least 21 hours of personal study by reviewing the syllabus and the Management of Portfolio MoP® manual in advance of attending training for the certification.
Course activities:
- 2-3 hours of evening work is required in order to take the exam
- Classroom lecturing.
- Individual and group assignments.
- Exam preparation session
Included in the course:
- PeopleCert authorized student curriculum.
- PeopleCert accredited exam
- Copies of the visual materials used in class.
- Coffee breaks
About examination:
- MoP® exam is PeopleCert accredited
- Exam administration is PeopleCert responsability
- ITAcademy enable with logistics the administration of the exams
- Exam has alocated time 180 min, with 4 complex multiple choice questions, 50% to pass
- The exam is online, in english or any translation available at PeopleCert
