Certificari curente ITIL®
Foundation CertificateThis Certificate is designed to provide a foundation level of knowledge in IT Service Management. It is aimed at all personnel who wish to become familiar with the best practices for IT Service Management, as defined in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) guidelines. In particular, it enables people to understand the terminology used within the ITIL® approach.
Although there is no formal requirement to attend a training course before sitting the exam, candidates are strongly advised to do so. The examination consists of a single, "closed book" multiple-choice 40 question paper for which one hour is allowed.
The Foundation Certificate is a prerequisite for the Intermediates Certificates in IT Service Management.
Intermediate Certificates
ITIL Intermediate level has a modular structure with each module holding a different focus. Candidates can take as few or as many Intermediate qualifications as they require, and to suit their needs. The Intermediate modules go into more detail than the Foundation level, and is an industry-recognised qualification.
If you are seeking a management/team leader role in your company that requires a broad management focus of ITIL practice areas and work across teams or manage multiple capability areas, the Service Lifecycle modules will be of interest to you:
If you are looking to gain intense, specialized, process-level knowledge in one or more process, with focus on the day-to-day execution of ITIL practices, the Service Capability modules will be of interest to you:
- Service Offerings and Agreements
- Release, Control and Validation
- Operational Support and Analysis
- Planning, Protection and Optimization
Some individuals may wish to concentrate on one stream of modules, however candidates may also choose to select modules from both Service Lifecycle and Service Capability streams to gain a holistic view of an entire stage from both a high level management level and the detailed, technical perspective.
Candidates wishing to sit the exam must hold the Foundation Certificate and attend a formal training course run by an Accredited Course Provider. The mechanism for evaluating candidates' competence and knowledge consist from a single examination consisting of a 90 minute "closed book" complex multiple-choice paper for each module. Complex multiple-choice papers will be marked by the Examination Institute.
The Foundation Certificate is a prerequisite for the Intermediate Certificate. Intermediate Certificates will provide 'credits' towards the Expert Certificate, 3 credits for a single Service Lifecycle exam and 4 credits for a Service Capability exam.
